SUPER 8 WEDDING TEASERS

What is a wedding teaser? It's a shortened highlight style video showing flashes of what the full film includes. My take on the teaser is a little different, using trigger bursts to quickly create a dreamlike scenario. Like the one below. It's a mere 30 seconds in length but has viewers wanting more. This was my first-time capturing fireworks through the lens of a super 8 camera, and I must say, it's about as whimsical as you can get. Overlaying the sound of the actual fireworks also works well. The sounds are 100% legit, as with everything I do, recorded using my trusty hand-held sound recorder. This is proof, that wherever digital goes, Super 8 can go. Do I experiment on your wedding day? Hell yes, that's how I capture the unique. The results speak for themselves. This wedding consisted of shooting 6 rolls of 200T vision 3 stock using three different Super 8 cameras, each camera has their own strength and weaknesses so having them all on hand was essential to making this film.
